Hey everybody,

Since I'm absolutely horrible at getting back to people on messages (sorry about that to everyone I've not responded to), I thought I would make a general post to talk about how school has been so far.

My roommate and I get along really well, so that's good. We're both history majors and we're in a history class together this semester, the History of the Ancient Mediterranean, which is easy. I'm also in a seminar on leadership, which is easy. Spanish 1 is hard-ish, just b… Continue

So the first day and a half has gone pretty well. My roommate didn't bring any HP books with her and we haven't discussed it yet (I haven't had time to put my poster up :p ), but I think we like a lot of the same things and she's really nice. (Last night we watched "Robin Hood: Men in Tights" on her laptop. It was very funny, although it had lots of gross jokes.) But at breakfast today I heard some people singing PotterPuppetPals, so there's hope. lol.

So it's almost 9:00 Wednesday night, and tomorrow morning I leave for college. I won't be home for ... ummm ... *counts* seven weeks, probably. And my mom isn't coming to help me move in; she just decided today that she had to go help out her mom (who's sick). I'm really, really not wanting to leave at the moment. This is scarier than I expected.
