You can only take full advantage on the Marauders Map's full ability when coupled with the Invisiblity Cloak. Or it would be cool if it could reflect the area around you. Now that i think about it, Both would be cool. Can I choose all of the above?

Yeah, I was under the same impression as Emmy.
after he puts it on, and when you put something that can read your mind on it bounds to recognize you
mmm true; it had the eyebrow things but not really eyes...
But then again, its mouth was just a fold of fabric and it could talk with that. So maybe it can see with its non-eyes too.
And in CoS, it recognized Harry in Dumbledore's office.
Does the Sorting Hat technically have eyes? I've never thought about that...
